Recently Safari 3 stopped updating my bookmarks bar with the count of the new articles for each menu therein. I noticed that RSSBookmarksInBarAreSubscribed was absent from com.apple.Safari.plist so I put it back as 1. So far, though, it doesn’t appear that it worked. Googling has so far yielded no help. What the…?
UPDATE: That does seem to have fixed it.
Dump Safari, and just switch to Google Reader
Perhaps it’s a knee-jerk reaction to the Microsoft borg or maybe I’m becoming a neo-Luddite, but I’m still resisting joining the Google hegemony for anything other than search. I might be cutting off my nose to spite my face but there you have it.
